Valued at roughly £70 million, Ndiaye looks like a team player who will suit what Michael Carrick wants to do. Manchester United have a big call to make on Iliman Ndiaye as they head into the 2026 summer window with clear gaps in their starting lineup. The 26-year-old Senegal international is having a great run at Everton, where his 2025/26 season stats show six goals and three assists in 25 games. While £70 million is a lot of money, the Toffees will probably hold out for a high fee since he is under contract until 2029.
To me, Ndiaye isn’t a direct replacement for the outgoing Casemiro; the Brazilian is a defensive shield, whereas the Senegalese star is a natural winger or attacking midfielder.
