There is competition already. Tuttomercato claims Atalanta appreciate Todibo’s profile and remain interested, which could complicate matters if Juventus decide to press ahead with an offer.
Todibo enters the market after a miserable season with West Ham. The 26-year-old made 23 Premier League appearances during the 2025/26 campaign, played 1,818 league minutes, registered one assist and failed to score. Those numbers tell only part of the story. His place at the club has weakened dramatically following West Ham’s relegation, making a transfer increasingly realistic.

West Ham, meanwhile, gain little from keeping an unhappy player earning a reported €4 million net per season while trying to restructure the squad for Championship football. Removing that salary creates valuable breathing space and clears a dressing-room issue at the same time. Taking €17-20 million may sting after such a heavy investment, yet holding onto a player who no longer wants to be there would cost even more.
