Scorzo believes Liverpool have every reason to reject Inter’s opening offer. Conor Gallagher’s €40 million transfer provides a fair comparison, making Liverpool’s valuation perfectly reasonable rather than excessive. Accepting less because the contract is running down would hand Inter a bargain and weaken Liverpool’s position in future negotiations. Either Inter increase their offer into the £35-40 million range, or Liverpool keep a technically gifted midfielder whose passing numbers remain among the strongest in their squad.
