Roma are in a tight spot. Squashed by UEFA Financial Fair Play rules, the Italian club faces a strict self-imposed balance-sheet deadline on June 30. They need cash, and they need it fast. Because Ndicka arrived on a free transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023, any transfer fee received goes down as pure profit. The Giallorossi are reportedly willing to do business for somewhere between £30 million and £34 million.
The centre-back comes with a serious pedigree. He clocked 42 appearances last term, chipping in with five goals as Roma clinched third in Serie A and secured Champions League football. Statistically, he’s sound. A 91% pass completion rate couples nicely with winning 60% of his duels, alongside averaging four recoveries and four clearances per match.

Can they actually pull this off? It is a massive ask. The player isn’t entirely sold on Spurs, but Bournemouth simply lack the traditional heavyweight glamour of Newcastle or Tottenham. Newcastle are watching closely, considering a concrete bid, while Tottenham will likely pivot to the Ivorian if the Van Hecke deal collapses.
