For Arsenal, this would look like a bet on development rather than a short-term necessity. Zechiël’s numbers are eye-catching, but seven league appearances provide a small sample, and Premier League football would bring greater pressure and physical demands.
Still, the profile makes sense. Arsenal need midfielders who can carry responsibility in possession, press intelligently and contribute around the box. Zechiël appears to offer those qualities, while his age leaves room for growth.
My view? Arsenal should keep the player under close observation before committing serious money. A fee near €30 million would represent a sizeable outlay for someone with limited top-level experience, yet his recent production makes the interest clear.
