Arsenal

All eyes turn to the Emirates Stadium on February 8, 2026, as Arsenal travel to face Sunderland. The Gunners are right in the thick of a title race and will be hungry for all three points, especially given how well they’ve played all season. Clinical attacking and a rock-solid defence have fueled their recent form, making them heavy favourites for this fixture.

On the flip side, Sunderland have really performed well this season, as they are currently eighth in the points table with 36 points in 24 games. They will be coming to the Emirates Stadium with a lot of optimism, but it is going to be a tough game for them against the League leaders.  Key players from both sides will look to step up in what should be a real scrap on the pitch.

The Gunners are coming to the game on the back of a 1-0 win against Chelsea in the League Cup, while Sunderland have defeated Burnley 3-0 in the previous game.
