TEAMtalk recently broke an exclusive report suggesting that Goncalo Ramos is ready to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the upcoming summer window. The Portuguese striker originally moved to the French giants from Benfica in a deal worth about €80 million, but his time in Paris hasn’t quite lived up to the hype.

Chelsea and Newcastle join the race for Goncalo Ramos

While he hit double digits in goals during his first two seasons, his role in the team has clearly faded. Numbers from the current 2025/2026 season show his struggle to find a rhythm, with the 24-year-old netting just five league goals in only ten starts.

So, a few Premier League big hitters have already reached out to see if he’s available. Chelsea and Newcastle United are at the front of the pack, as both clubs were watching the forward before he headed to Ligue 1. Even though Ramos decided to stay and fight for his spot after PSG’s recent Champions League win, his lack of game time has led to a change of heart.

Outside of England, European regulars like AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, and Borussia Dortmund are also keeping tabs on him as he looks for a fresh start to get his career back on track. PSG reportedly realise the long-term suitability just isn’t there, making a summer move look likely as Ramos aims to prove himself in a new top-flight league.
