Manchester United Player Ratings Vs Como

Manchester United endured a miserable evening against Como, suffering a 4-1 defeat at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia in a performance marked by defensive mistakes, poor midfield control and limited attacking threat. Nico Paz opened the scoring after just three minutes, exposing United’s defensive weaknesses with a superb finish. Michael Carrick’s side struggled to respond, allowing Cesc Fàbregas’s team to dictate possession and create dangerous openings.

United reached half-time without conceding again, but their hopes of recovering quickly disappeared after the restart. Anastasios Douvikas doubled Como’s lead before Paz added his second with an excellent individual effort. Jacobo Ramón then headed home Como’s fourth, leaving United with little chance of salvaging anything from the contest. Joshua Zirkzee scored a late consolation, although his goal barely softened the damage.

Manchester United player ratings vs Como

Senne Lammens – 6/10

The goalkeeper faced repeated pressure and received little help from his defenders. He made several routine stops, but Como’s finishing and United’s defensive gaps left him with few realistic chances of preventing the goals.

Diogo Dalot – 5/10

Dalot missed an early opportunity to make an impact in attack and struggled against Como’s wide players. Switching flanks failed to improve his performance, while his defensive positioning offered little reassurance.

Matthijs de Ligt – 5/10

The defender looked short of match sharpness after his lengthy injury absence. He lost track of Douvikas for Como’s second goal and found it difficult to cope with the hosts’ movement.

Harry Maguire – 6/10

Maguire allowed Paz too much space before the opening goal, but he responded with several determined challenges. His individual interventions helped limit the damage during a difficult night for United’s backline.

Noussair Mazraoui – 4.5/10

Mazraoui struggled to press Como effectively and looked uncomfortable after moving into central defence. His positioning and timing repeatedly exposed United to danger.

Andrey Santos – 4/10

Santos lost control of midfield and struggled to contain Paz. A yellow card compounded his problems before Carrick replaced him at half-time.

Youri Tielemans – 4.5/10

The Belgian failed to control possession or provide sufficient defensive cover. Como found space between United’s midfield and defence, leaving Tielemans unable to influence proceedings.

Mason Mount – 5/10

Mount worked hard but struggled to influence a midfield battle that Como controlled for long periods. His pressing offered little reward as United failed to sustain attacks.

Bruno Fernandes – 4/10

United’s captain struggled to create clear chances and showed his frustration throughout the match. Carrick substituted him shortly after the hour mark.

Matheus Cunha – 4/10

Cunha offered little threat on the counter-attack and struggled to receive the ball in dangerous areas. United replaced him at half-time.

Bryan Mbeumo – 5.5/10

Mbeumo tried to inject urgency into United’s attack, but Como restricted his opportunities. A lack of quality service limited his influence.

Amad Diallo – 6/10

Diallo brought greater energy after half-time and showed some neat touches, although United’s deficit had already become substantial.

Carlos Baleba – 4/10

Baleba endured a difficult substitute appearance and surrendered possession during the move that produced Como’s third goal.

Joshua Zirkzee – 7/10

Zirkzee supplied United’s consolation with a well-taken finish. His sharper attacking contribution offered a rare positive moment.

Harry Amass – 6/10

Amass entered late and had limited time to influence the result. He helped United see out the closing stages without further damage.
